Can’t loose licence if You don’t have one

  2. I mean they allow the permit to be infinitely updated, so of course it’s possible?

  3. The test is administered by a for-profit company, and I’m sure that has nothing to do with the number of people passing.

    /S

  4. Wait until they hear about the load of licenses they just handed out in 1979.

  5. 160 quid fine and two points. Might never meet a checkpoint that checks your license.

  6. My Aunt has been driving on a provisional for the past 40+ years and her husband has one of the free ones issued in 1979.

Not a single test between them!

  7. My partner is an L driver and has been driving around without me for about a year or two. Not for lack of trying to get a test, but he’s been on the waiting list since the end of 2021. Rings every few weeks to ask to me put on cancellations but no joy.

At a certain point, it’s out of his control.

  8. No shit, that test is a money hole & the pass/ fail rates are sus.
