The volume of the Armenian narrative I’m experiencing is a bit baffling. It’s like the inverse of winning the lottery and finding out you have a whole bunch of cousins you were very close with but have forgotten about.
There I was, living my life, thinking that Armenia is a far-away country allied to Russia that’s involved in some dispute with Azerbaijan over land that they took in some war and suddenly it turns out that this whole time Armenia has been a close EU associate and bravely resisted an insatiable horde of genocidal Turks that threatens to swallow us all, until it couldn’t anymore, due to our failure to aid them.
Weird.

I see the Pro Azerbaijan Pro Genocide Brigaders are here in the comments again cheering the SECOND Genocide of Armenian women and children.
Armenia sent Ukraine 14 tons of aid, Kicked out pro-Russian polticians and Cut ties with Russia as much as they could.
Yet the scum in this chat will spread PROPAGANDA that Armenia is Russia’s allie while the American Government is supplying Azerbaijan with weapons to commit their Genocide and the EU is supplying them with money to commit their Genocide. There’s a lot of bot accounts created in last couple days that are spreading Pro-Azerbaijan regime propaganda. Go look at the age of the accounts in the threads on this Genocide. Most of them less than a month or less than a few days or hours old. All of them cut-pasting the same disinfo & propaganda to muddy the waters while a genocide of women and children is taking place.
Armenia:
* in EAEU (a.k.a. Russian EU)
* in CSTO (a.k.a. Russian NATO)
* has official Russian military base in its territory (Gyumri, Armenia)
* invade neighbour’s territory under historical (“we have been here for 2000 years”) and religious (“we are first Christian nation”) pretenses
* ignore multiple resolutions from West (i.e. UN) to vacate invaded lands and respect international law
* every time there was a vote in UN to condemn annexation of Crimea/Donbass/Luhansk or put sanctions on Russia, Armenia either not voting or voting against
And after all that keep blaming that same West for “inactivity” and for “putting European interests above Armenian interests”.
Also, if you disagree, you are automatically a “Turkish” or “Azeri” bot/troll and banned/blocked.

I wouldn’t accuse Europe of inhumanity. Instead, I would attempt to convey to the European governance and establishment a simple truth: by purchasing Azerbaijani gas, Europe inadvertently enriches Russia, as it essentially buys Russian gas. It’s better to focus on preventing the opening of an uncontrolled corridor through Armenia for the needs of Russia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan, as it would lead to a major war that is likely to reach Europe.
If you support Ukraine retaking Crimea, you also indirectly support Azerbaijan retaking Nagorno-Karabakh. That’s kinda how International Law and Norms works. No exceptions or the system just falls apart.

Ethnic Armenians who managed to get to Armenia have given harrowing accounts of fleeing death, war and hunger.
Some said they saw many dead civilians – one said truckloads. Some with young children, broke down in tears as they described a tragic odyssey of running from war, sleeping on the ground and with hunger churning in their bellies.
