Planning a road trip from Gothenburg to Flam in late Feb and trying to evaluate:
1. How realistic is 9 hours drive from Gothenburg to Flam?
2. I’ve [read that](https://flamtravelguide.com/stegastein-viewpoint/#:~:text=This%20road%20stretch%20is%20closed,any%20time%20of%20the%20year.) “In winters, the road from Flam to Stegastein gets closed intermittently when it snows heavily.”, but the portion between Aurland and the viewpoint stays open. However, when the road from Flam is closed, is it still possible to access the Aurland portion from the outside (e.g. Oslo direction)? I presume the answer is no.
3. How frequent is snow road closures around Flam, and how long would one typically last? This is relevant because typical cancellation times for things like airbnb is around a week, so trying to decide how soon we should book/plan in advance.
