This week, we are once again heading towards the front. Not afraid, but certainly tense! A German journalist asked us this week if we are afraid. For the first time, we didn’t respond with a resounding “no.” It is (and we both feel it) the first time we are quite nervous. Lately, there has been intensive bombing by the Russians, especially in the places where we are going. Naturally, this adds extra tension during our longest journey so far.

**Where are we going?**

We are heading to various locations close to the front, but we start in the west, where we will spend a day frying fries for wounded frontline soldiers. Some soldiers can come outside to eat with us, but a large portion of them is not mobile, so we will deliver the food to their beds. We consider it an honor to cook for these people.

**Mykolaiv:** We are going to Mykolaiv among other places. We have been here before and used to fry about 1600 servings per day. This city has been under fire in recent weeks, but we still want to fry here for two days.

We haven’t been to **Odesa** before, but we have been invited to fry there. The residents live in fear because the port and the city center are attacked almost daily.

**Kherson** is a city located directly on the front lines and within artillery range, which means we will have to fry with bulletproof vests. Last time, we fried 1.8 km from the river, and on the other side of the river are the Russians. This may well be the most dangerous location of all. This city is also hit daily.

**Pokrovs’ke** is located in the Zaparozhye province, close to the front. We haven’t been here before, but we will fry for the remaining population (those who are left), soldiers, and refugees.

**Zaparozhye city:** The tension is palpable here because it is close to the front, and air alarms are usually too late when the city is attacked. Furthermore, the largest nuclear power plant in this region is located here, controlled by the Russians and reportedly loaded with explosives.

**Kramatorsk**, we know all too well because we survived the rocket attack here. This city is only 1 minute away (rocket speed) from the nearest Russian launch sites, so there is first an impact, and then the air alarm goes off. Here, we will return to the place where it happened on June 27. We will also fry fries for residents and refugees.

**Avdiïvka:** This is where our friends who cannot hear or speak live. In this city, no building has remained undamaged by the war. Most buildings are completely destroyed. Nevertheless, Andrei and Tanja absolutely do not want to leave this city because they continue to care for abandoned animals. We are bringing a substantial supply of pet food for them.

Lyman, Sloviansk, and Kharkiv are front cities that we will definitely visit.

We will also help war victims in other ways. In the past, we often tried to alleviate individual suffering. We will do this again during this trip. We rarely filmed this before and never shared it on social media. Now, we have decided to share such videos.
