TBH, I think it is better for the Tories if they call an election sooner, rather than later – the damage they could do to themselves in the next 12 months is limitless, especially if they listen to Truss.
However, if they don’t, the resulting car crash will be glorious.

I think we need the names of these 60 MPs who join Britains-shortest-lived-Prime-Ministerial-disaster so their constituents can vote them out at the next election
I’m sure those ex-MPs will find no one in the private sector, that they say they love so much, wants to hire them
Truss was an embarrassment before she was Prime Minister. Then, remarkably, she became even more embarrassing during the 45 minutes she was in power. She’s deluded and the sooner she loses her seat and she’s out of the public eye, the better.
