Protect A Volunteer posted this recently and Reddit had fun naming the very large rifle. This Estonian soldier had some donors through us who helped with equipment, vehicle costs and more. Sadly he was killed this weekend when the house he was in was targeted by a drone. Heroyam Slava! See below

This volunteer from Estonia was Tanel Kriggul, known as Stinger. The house he shared with fellow servicemembers in Donetsk oblast was reportedly hit by a Russian kamikaze drone, reducing the home to rubble.
You may recall we made this [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/15z57wj/this_foreign_volunteer_is_supported_by_donors/) about him and the extremely large rifle he has. Reddit didn’t disappoint in suggesting names for it!
Stinger joined the International Legion last year and received a lot of support from Protect A Volunteer and Redditors. He was on Chris Campbell’s team, an American volunteer who was KIA this spring. The team lost several members on that operation, and lots of equipment, and we [raised money](https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/13mqlw8/we_have_290_of_the_1367_needed_to_buy_a_scope_for/) thanks to Reddit to help them replace a scope.
We also matched him to some donors who very generously supported him with direct funds and by sending equipment and snacks. All of us were proud to support him.
He enjoyed reading the funny names you all came up with for the large rifle in the picture above. I posted a screenshot above from a chat with him commenting on all the great names. Of course on his Instagram, he posted the picture with the caption Shooty McShootface!
We almost set up an AMA with him – he offered to do one and we were going to arrange it but now we will never be able to.
Heroyam Slava Stinger – you will be missed. We are grateful for your sacrifice and know that generations of Ukrainians and freedom loving people will remember what you did. We will continue to honor you and the other fallen defenders by supporting those who remain.
#Rest in power
A hero is never forgotten.
This is a senseless tragedy. Stinger, you were a great man and deserved much better than this. Your death is one of the drops in the ocean of this war, an ocean that will turn into a deluge swallowing the invaders and their degenerate civilization. We will miss you hero and will continue supporting the fight in your honor. Rest in peace, brother.
Герої не вмирають. Rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to his family. Estonia can be proud raising such men. RIP Hero, I’m sure you will be sorely missed, but always remembered.
