Woah…
I’m not shocked that my authoritarian shitshow of a government is making yet another sudden, dramatic, adversarial and largely performative gesture, but I’m shocked that they’re doing it to penalise another authoritarian shitshow of a government.
European community-minded folks should be very grateful for how much Poles hate the Russian state because without that key factor getting in the way, the authoritarian populist bloc within the EU would be a whole lot more cohesive and formidable.
rough times for schengen lately
Well it certainly is peculiar given that Czechia is basically the same nation as perceived by many. Interesting and saddening development but what can you do when 16% of the county votes for a known corrupt devil….
Mainly as corruption was nothing uncommon to the point of it not being seen as bad but a part of life by the generation that grew up between 68-91… and because beach party is corrupt… and the last party was the “anti corruption” party that achieved nothing and by misfortune they butchered the Pandemic, the economic downturn, the war in Ukraine…. and they also lost the digital war against russian misinformation… honestly it baffles me how little this gets mentioned as all I need to do is turn on a VPN and see how bad it is… complete spam.
So in a melancholic apathy of “you will never have a non corrupt politician, you may as well vote in the sympathetic (populist) whilst eating up the dream of sovereignty which the small country will never have either way”…. they chose the corrupt one that they already knew.
Idl why we are doing this, the slovakian doctors would come in handy 😉
