Dear All, could you please help. I plan my trip and Google shows a bit weird thing on my route. It’s a cross E324 and Aiolias (near Paralimni). Do you know what is it and why Google doesn’t advise to drive straight there? If there is some construction work? Just if you know. Thank you all!

  1. I drive from there nearly every day. For some time now google maps for whatever stupid reason shows that. Just go straight normally. There’s nothing going on there. It used to do something similar at some traffic lights near the GSP stadium but that got fixed by now.. I think.

  2. It’s just Google Maps being funny. This is straight line. I’ve seen it before in Nicosia, so I guess it’s a thing. Satellite view helps!

  3. I stayed near there in the summer and it’s just a stupid Google glitch

  4. Google Maps are horribly unreliable here, so expect a lot of stuff like that. Sometimes it draws a straight path through a fucking cliff, and don’t even let me mention one-way streets. Use common sense.

  5. Waze is far better for Cyprus.

Google maps tells you to do turns in nicosia you can’t do

  6. I always drive that way. Excellent reason to power-slide your car.

  7. Checking every single step and turn of your 2 hour journey, days in advance, and asking the whole Cyprus about what’s clearly a Google Maps glitch? Bit overkill innit?

  8. Google maps makes an incredible amount of mistakes in Cyprus

  9. Google isn’t so good over here, wish I had a euro for every time in directs me the wrong way on a one way street. As others have said use waze. .
