Ok 3 photos 🙂 My girlfriend and I go back to Malta every year (as a nostalgia trip, since we lived in Malta for many years), so I am aware of the “cranes” and the “blank walls”. But after this trip and the insane level of construction, unfortunately, we don’t see ourselves coming back next year. 🙁

These are three photos.
This really sums up the state of Malta, sound pollution, air pollution, constant construction, traffic jams. At the moment i don’t recommend anyone to go to Malta for vacation sadly due to the state of this small island.
That’s probably the worst I’ve seen. Maybe if you do come back next time, ask if the hotel you’re staying in is a construction site or not?
