We often smudge China as a country with no privacy (and I agree it is bad in China), but the reality is in Europe we also see some rather odd changes towards a more totalitarian government. Some of the rules (often not always known to the public) are seriously starting to move towards questionable practices.
(and I yes I am aware that there are already many things happening, countries spying on each other etc and also the USA, comparable to China, is rather active in this)
I wonder what your thoughts are on this.
