Braverman, freshly inspired by last night’s Sharknado marathon.
A lot of people will lap this unfortunately. The tories always have this rhetoric to fall back on when they’ve fucked everything up, and it works. All the more annoying when it’s so transparent
Being perma-banned from r/ukpolitics for calling this woman the vilest thundercunt on planet earth is actually one of my proudest moments.
And its going to be, just around the corner, right up until the election campaign starts.
In other news the Daily Express is predicting the worst winter for 300 years.
Funny who the people who set the rules that can prevent this are, isn’t it?
I’ve heard an avalanche of soundbites are also here
In 1930s germany they referred to migration as an “infestation”.
This language is fucking dangerous and needs to be stamped out.
Why am i not surprised? brexit was pushed to only benefit the rich, relaxed immigration controls means that we can keep wages low by influx of foreign people who will work for less money.
Regardless of the fascist-style language – the Tories are the ones who have presided over the massive influx of legal migration in order to import cheap workers (partly because they don’t want to pay British public sector workers a living wage). What a fucking cheek to complain about migration when you’re handing out visas like they’re going out of fashion! And illegal migration is only a tiny % of total migration to the UK.
In 2022 45,756 illegal migrants entered the UK. In 2022, 1.2 million legal migrants entered the UK, meaning that around 3.6% of migration to the UK was illegal.
Now which is going to be putting more pressure on our infrastructure and public services do we think?
It is with climate change, but as the tories seem to want to pretend that doesn’t exist, this is entirely dog whistling.
“Can we get the batshit insane lady off the stage now, please?”
Insidious rhetoric evocative of fascistic dehumanisation. ‘Hurricane’ is imbued with negative and destructive connotations that galvanises the listeners and elicits their apprehension.
I’d it wrong to hope certain thundercunts get pancreatic cancer.
I only chose pancreatic cancer because I can’t think of anything more painful and less curable. But if there is something then please correct me.
Hope they keep bringing more nice food dishes like literally all our favourite national meals
“Hurricane Migration” is a bit of a send-off from “Hurricane Katrina”
