Subways been on managed decline for years, it’s never been something that blows me away but my last 5 subways have been costly and you can taste the quality drop / skimping. Or maybe thats just the price point versus my expectations.

Can get a meal deal at Tescos cheaper than a subway. They need to drop the prices down
Honestly I’m surprised to hear Subway was bigger than Maccies.
Not surprised they’re experiencing a decline though, their prices have gone up significantly and the quality/consistency is not worth it

A snack or lunch from Subway will generally be mediocre and expensive. A snack or lunch from Greggs will generally be spot on and much more affordable.
This was always going to happen eventually.

How the heck is Subway bigger than Maccies? Not that I don’t believe it, I just always thought Maccies was the dominant force in the fast food world.
