Investigations into identity of man arrested in Cork find he held passports in names of two babies who died

1. This weird one is still ticking along. Article suggests he has an American accents, but it sounds like nothing has been discovered yet about who he really is.

   I wonder how long he can be held, if he continues to refuse to identify himself?

2. Standard practice for spies and undercover police in some countries to build a legend about your cover identity by using a dead child’s birth cert to obtain legit IDs.

3. Why are they not showing pics of the bloke in any of these reports? Someone might go “Oh yeah, THAT ‘Philip Morris’. I remember him years ago; he had a wife and daughter and a house in Skib. Said he was born in Harrogate.”
   It’s really peculiar to read about gardai scratching their heads and shrugging their shoulders, and saying stuff like “This is a funny one, and no mistake. We’ve no idea how to find out who he is”.
