Phew, for a moment I was worried that I was going to miss out on the slow trundle on local lines from Crewe / Stoke, stuck behind an “all stations” local service

Actually a joke, they come to Manchester for their conference, our options, either we make a really cool announcement of we’re commiting to the northern power house and we’re bringing HS2 to Manchester…. Or we go, you can have fast trains, from fucking Birmingham…
