Although macaroni has been returned to Finnish grocery stores and markets after the recall of the product and an equipment failure at the factory earlier this summer, a new problem has become macaroni hoarders who buy the entire shelf empty at once. As a result of the hoarding of macaroni, the shortage of macaroni has continued in some stores even after the summer and because of this, the stores don’t have time to fill the warehouse and order more macaroni with the current sales rate of the product.
