The US is preparing a new aid package for Ukraine. The Pentagon has another $5.2 billion in defense aid for Ukraine. This is approximately 12% of the total $43.9 billion in security assistance that the United States has provided since Russia’s invasion in February 2022.

I wonder what sort of aid Ukraine would choose if there only were a fixed amount of Dollars?
Which I don’t support btw.
Keep it coming until the Russia tyrant is forced to throw in the towel.
Dear Ukraine, as an American taxpayer, I ABSOLUTELY support your fight against the Russian aggressors, as long as it takes. Keep up the fighting. GLORY TO 🇺🇦
Not good enough. Boots on the ground now. Be audacious, that is what put our country at the top of the ladder. I would deploy on the western side of the Dneiper, tell the Russians to hand over Medvedev to face a firing squad, or we cross the River and begin clearing Ukraine ourselves. Like Lavrov said “we will figure it out on the battlefield”.
I’ll continue to ask my congress people to send more assistance to Ukraine.
I really wish the media would be more specific about these aid packages. We’re not dropping off bags of taxpayer money. We’re providing another $5.2b in ammunition and military equipment via the lend-lease program. This is basically a green light for another inventory rotation of US military stockpiles, which allows them to upgrade stuff they’d otherwise be sitting on. Ukraine will also be in debt to the US for ages as a result.
Fun fact: The UK only managed to pay off its WW2 lend-lease obligations to the US in the mid 90s.
Thank you US brothers! (I’m PL)
Take my money Ukraine 🇺🇦 Freedom is never ever free
“We got money for war but we can’t feed the poor”
Which is peanuts for fighting a Big enemy of the us… give more… 🥺
It’s not free and if the Americans decide to cut them off, Ukraine is so screwed.
Good! Send them what they need and ramp up our military industrial complex slava 🇺🇦
Can I have 1 billion of that please I gotta pay bills
I read a great post on [quora](https://www.quora.com/They-keep-saying-the-Ukraine-war-is-five-percent-of-our-military-spending-but-it-s-costing-us-ten-percent-of-the-real-number-because-what-we-gave-them-we-have-to-replace-Is-that-not-right/answer/Chris-Everett?ch=15&oid=1477743695678502&share=83e97753&srid=3BXNi&target_type=answerhttps://www.quora.com/They-keep-saying-the-Ukraine-war-is-five-percent-of-our-military-spending-but-it-s-costing-us-ten-percent-of-the-real-number-because-what-we-gave-them-we-have-to-replace-Is-that-not-right/answer/Chris-Everett?ch=15&oid=1477743695678502&share=83e97753&srid=3BXNi&target_type=answer) recently explaining how the headline dollar figure isn’t quite accurate.
ATACMS now! Especially with future support from US in limbo. I will be really disappointed if my president decides otherwise.
<3 from the nafo
Wait, what? I thought the US cut off aid to Ukraine?
Hell yeah let’s get this done before a Republican president comes in and ruins everything.
Can we get a GoFundMe page set up for the Ukraine war?? Any noble citizens of the world who wish to send their own money can do so, while the rest of us can pay taxes for our own country’s benefit.
Good, I hate war. Sometimes you have to.
And now what to do about this House Freedom Caucus in the U.S. Congress? An ultra-right conservative faction within the Republican party, mainly aligned with former President Donald Trump. With Matt Gaetz, R-FL and Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA being the most aggressively outspoken opponents of the establishment, especially it’s Speaker, Kevin McCarthy R-CA. This is where the push is coming from that questions US support for Ukraine. The Biden administration has pledged to push back hard against these short-sided demands, hopefully refusing to be extorted and playing hardball with congress, I would support that reproach. In my opinion it proves how little some know and understand geopolitical dynamics, let alone how to manage them. They cannot see the importance of success in the Russia problem, for Ukraine, the EU, NATO, the UN and even on the future security of the U.S. No foreign policy skills, obviously. The most important question these people deny is how they are prepared to take responsibility if US support fails and Russia regroups, launching SMOs at will wherever they choose? I haven’t found an answer from the House Freedom Caucus about this question. This is very irresponsible and unsensible for supposed leaders of such powerful positions. Many Americans who vote for these politicians are just being apathetic isolationist. I believe that is very bad, for everyone in the entire world. That approach is selfish. It accomplishes and solves nothing, other than saving tax dollars for the US budget. Their platform suggests creating a democratic iron curtain of the U.S. If they have ideas about why withholding aid to Ukraine is prudent then why don’t they share those ideas, provable specifics with the US taxpayers. Otherwise, their efforts are just petty politics and grandstanding, that impedes solid leadership. When Americans finally wake up to this fallacy, it should cost their seats due to poor governance. May I suggest they not foolishly play into the hands of the adversaries by blindly creating more expense than savings for Americans, Europeans and the Free World.
What a waste of money
Ukrainians – don’t be worried about the noise coming from our MAGA folks who want a Russian dictatorship in the US. A significant majority of Americans are with you until the victory is achieved.
Keep it up boys, we’re depending on you. Ever read a history book?! (Norm Macdonald xoxo)
As an American taxpayer, I’m fine giving Ukraine 1000 ATACMs, 500 more HIMARS launchers and 1000 Abrams tanks. Let’s do it!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇦🇺🇸🇺🇦
The American people do not support spending money on foreign wars. We had it for decades with the neocons and now with the neolibs who kept telling us that these wars were necessary for “freedom & security.” We won’t fall for it again.
Honestly I’m 100% okay with my tax dollars going towards Ukraine. It’s literally the defense of a sovereign nation against an invasion by a hostile nation that has decided to do whatever it wants.
As an American tax payer with a family of 5, I vote to keep my tax money at home.
Strengthen our borders
Invest in our infrastructure
Bring hope that the American dream is still alive.
Is Ukr a proxy army for the US to weaken Russia? Any views?
What a waste of money and blood. Stop fueling war!!!
They’re just creating money out of thin air
I rather use my tax money for this, than supporting the conservative states
Just to be clear we have spent around the total of 113 Billion during this war.
(Latest number here) ‘th that , I will happily send my tax dollars to support your struggle for independence,
your bravery and sacrifice in the face of a tyrannical regime and utter madman, you have sent a message to the world and inspired millions. 🇺🇸🇭🇷
Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦 Glory To
