Russia is always exaggerating numbers for all sorts of things. This is no different. I believe it’s just propaganda designed to deter young Ukrainians from joining the fight.
Interesting observation. Russian MP Kartapolov overseeing this things said on record that no vacations are possible for mobilized last year. That mobilized people can return back home only after “Special Military Operation” ends.
So new 335k mobiks aren’t slated for rotation but simply to replace lost troops.

Probably true. They did change rules on conscription and with the Russian economy falling many people would not be working. Expect higher than normal recruitment from the poor regions.
