Turns out towed artillery can’t run away like it’s crew can. Tragic, poor D-20/30s they never stood a chance. Can’t be healthy to operate artillery so close to the front.
How close is Ukraine getting to killing all the Russian artillery in a 30 km region of the front? If these impressive counter battery numbers are concentrated it could enable a breakthrough. Further, if Ukraine could achieve absolute artillery superiority for a 20km width and depth of the front in a particular place, they could then deploy massive electronic warfare in that region, denying access to ALL drones. That would leave Ukraine in a very advantageous condition because Ukraine could still use artillery and Russia would have nothing.

13 more tanks. That’s 43 total the past three days. I would love to see an armata destroyed, even though we know it’ll never sniff a battlefield. Seems like we’ll crack 9k fuel tanks/vehicles in a day or two too.
Russia’s artillery-at-readiness numbers, and these are the [bullshit numbers](https://www.globalfirepower.com/country-military-strength-detail.php?country_id=russia ) they flexed pre-invasion, was ~7100 combined self-propelled and towed, with ~3800 add’l or so in deep storage or junkyards or some military surplus store in the middle of Texas. Depleting them fully of their military’s backbone is possible at these rates
