Not that bad, thankfully, no. My previous GP had a walk-in praxis which I vastly prefer, so no need for appointments. My current one replies to emails and you can set up an appointment that way.
In your case, I recommend either finding out if this doctor has walk-in hours, or finding another practise nearby that does.
No, that’s fucking crazy. You need to look for another doctor if this isn’t some crazy exception. I call once, they answer and I get an appointment on the same day.
After 2 failed calls, I’d just go in person and ask for an appointment. If you have time you can ask for one right now, but you’ll have to wait.
