US is giving “things” to Ukraine, the money stays in the US.
You have to be a bitter republican not to see the huge benefits from the situation, i.e. Trump demanded 2% military spending and we laughed. We aren’t laughing now.
LOL, no. I 100% support funding Ukraine but this is nonsense. Yes, a few small towns had a few job increases due to arms production. In no way is this a benefit beyond these small towns.
This war is costing us money, plain and simple. It is not a benefit to our economy. There is no need to lie about it. It is simply the cost of freedom. Russia has to be stopped and it is not going to be cheap. It is better to do it now while it only cost us money and stuff. If we have to do it later it will cost us are most precious resource, humans.
Ah…the old, “Government is putting more money into the economy argument.” Where do you think government gets money? They either take from taxpayers OR borrow which means government needs to take more from taxpayers to pay back the debt. This analysis is the equivalent to “I’m using credit cards to buy stuff I don’t need. It’s a great idea because I’m helping the economy!!” Genius!!
