  3. Yeah no, I would appeal this decision. This is beyond ridiculous. If I dress up as a clown at work I bet nobody would take me seriously either and I’d be told to go home and change clothes.

  4. Why did that prosecutor appeal the first verdict? They complain they have so little time that they don’t even have time to process all the speeding tickets and then they waste time on this.

    It was clearly an honest mistake, I’m going to assume she’s not some evil terrorist who keeps intentionally ignoring clowns in traffic. Just the fact that she was sued for this meant she wouldn’t make the same mistake again even if she was acquitted, so who exactly benefits from this appeal and conviction? Absolutely nobody.
