Hi everyone, I’m working on a project for my studies about the possible uses of voice cloning (using an AI to mimic someone’s voice) for disinformation in elections. I heard that there were a few prominent cases of this in the recent Slovak elections, and wanted knew of any examples. I was able to find this link:
[(4) Peter Marcek – POZOR, POZOR, POZOR! 😡😡😡 Pokiaľ je táto nahrávka… | Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/peter.marcek.5/posts/276572018586296/)
but as I don’t speak Slovak I’m pretty lacking on context / if this is a legit attempt at disinformation. Any leads would be appreciated!

There’s a great page [here](https://fakty-afp-com.translate.goog/doc.afp.com.33WY9LF?_x_tr_sl=en&_x_tr_tl=sk&_x_tr_hl=sk&_x_tr_pto=wapp) about what you’re trying to find. [Here’s ](https://www.wired.co.uk/article/slovakia-election-deepfakes) also an article in Wired about that.
There was also a deepfake voice recording about [beer prices.](https://www-aktuality-sk.translate.goog/clanok/wAuU4un/drasticky-zvysime-ceny-piva-hovori-simeckov-hlas-je-to-podvod-ktoremu-uverili-tisice-ludi/?_x_tr_sl=sk&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=sk&_x_tr_pto=wapp)

Údajná nahrávka telefonátu predsedu PS a novinárky Denníka N vykazuje podľa expertov početné známky manipulácie
