Jesus Christ. All the SF fan boys take note here. Double the stamp duty and remove the help to buy. So for a 300 k house you now need to save the full 30 k, plus another 3 k for your extra stamp duty. O and don’t buy anywhere near a river since apparently climate change doesn’t matter a fuck.
But hey ho double money at Christmas and relief for people who benefitted from record low interest rates on trackers for the best part of a decade.
People that vote for SF don’t understand basic economics or social planning so they can push these nonsensical budgets every year for some headlines and look like heroes. The truth is most of these monetary policies would be very damaging to the economy and ordinary people.
Plus most of these policy are brand new for SF and complete step change to pull in the middle class vote, which they know they’ll need to win the next election because the truth is higher earners and educated people don’t vote SF.
The voters that support them are just anti FF/FG and rightly so in some instances but you think it’s expensive living here now? Wait til these amadáns take over. Were proper fucked.
