  1. Hope those workers have said goodbye to their families.

  2. It’s not as “ambitious” as they think. Russia has literally pre-made sections of tracks kind of like the kids toys for ease of construction of straightaways. They deployed stockpiles of these parts along the routes. You can search for images. They are out there but tricky to find.

  3. It’s very thoughtful of them to gift Ukraine post-war infrastructure. But they still have to compensate Ukraine for all the schools, hospitals, apartment buildings, and museums they have destroyed out of sheer spite.

  4. When Ukraine gets another 10-20km south of Velyka Novosilka or Vuhledar, the route’s necessary bridges will also be very vulnerable.

  5. Something’s wrong with my head today. I read ambitious as amphibious, and I was thinking…an underwater train? Is it nuclear powered? I need some rest.

  6. Cool! Now, the UAF will be able to attrit their military railway logistic forces trying to build the line along with the rest of the military specialists that have been wiped out. The last of the military and civilian sector that is good at building and maintaining rail logistics is going to be extinct by next year. Maybe they will kill some of the leadership as well as a bonus.

  7. Speed limit 35 km/h because of the shoddy construction.

  8. I mean sure, go ahead a waste the resources. I’m sure it will be perfectly safe.

  9. Partisan time. Blow up and sabatoge that project so that it takes them 50 years
