Why doesn’t the world stop worsening? When will things improve? When will climate change be fixed? When the decline of democracy stop? When everything will stop? I’m tired and the more time passes the more I just want to smash everything.

I guess they forgot on what continent they are and that unlike Africa, we get this thing called winter that even if it’s mild you still need a lot of constant energy production. Not 5-6 h per day but 24h, especially during the night.
Glory to the genius strategy of shutting down nuclear reactors earlier that their designed operation because there was a tsunami in Japan and a shitty, cheap and badly operated reactor in soviet union 37 years ago had a core meltdown only to continue to import massive amount of electricity from the neighboors that have NPPs.
I guess being poisoned by burning coal gives you a distinct sensation of feeling superior and it’s all worth it.
I wish we could find the solution with a commercial fusion energy power plant.

Complaining that Germany is using coal power plants temporarily as backup while it’s massively increasing renewables is as dumb as making fun of a startup company for needing investors in the first years of operation.
