Extending the logic, Death Valley National Park is bigger than Cyprus.
Not exactly realistic to compare an actively managed and entirely sculpted park, such as Hyde Park and Central Park with natural and essentially unsculpted park.
Still needs more trees
Athalassa park looks deserted on the satellite images compared to other ones.
North part of Nicosia does not even have a big area without buildings yet alone one that we can call nice park. The biggest green area I know is currently transforming into a palace for one bald guy supported by someone with mustache
By the way the small plot of water in athalassa is the waste water from the hospital
Usually bigger is better, but in this case, not so much.
Going slightly off topic, I moved to Larnaca in 2017 and not once did any of my friends, relatives or connections tell me about Patticheio Park or ever mention it. I mean you have this great big green park in virtually the centre of Larnaca off Fanoremeni and near the salt lake and everytime I’ve been to walk it’s virtually been empty, barely any dog walkers, kids playing, families or picnics and I’ve been outside of the summer during nice spring weather, not too cold or hot.
I sent some videos to my relatives in the U.K. and they asked me if I was back in England. As a Cypriot it’s embarrassing, the park needs some work but I’ve been in similar size parks in Serbia, Austria, Germany etc and they are always full of people. In the U.K. you have friends and families having picnics, walking dogs, training, playing sports etc but the Cypriots of Larnaca would rather sit outside Coffee House and Dstrkt the malakes.
And I saw recently they announced a renovation plan for the park and I saw what looked like a massive concrete slab for skate boarding etc and on the pictures it looked like is was removing around 100 meters x 100 meters for their bullshit concrete. The malakes never learn. The park doesn’t even need much, some better maintenance and facilities like toilets and a kiosk and it will be nice.
Athalassa park is a gem, even if its not as maintained as those parks
My fav psychward 😍
Is it possible to round by running the park? I mean, is the perimeter actually having a well defined path?
Can’t walk around the cunt when it’s 36 degrees for half the day though.
