  1. @mods not a duplicate – this is a different cat to the one posted a few hours ago

  2. This is becoming such a regular news story that I’ve actually felt the need to prepare in my head how I might be able to fend one of these things off. Kick it in the head? It actually is getting to the point where the general public would be wise to start learning XL bully self-defence.

I see unhinged looking men in Lewisham walking these animals on literal chains quite often. When will one go for me or my cat, I wonder? If I see one attack a neighbour cat, what do I do? How has this become an actual thing I need to worry about?

  3. Shitbulls trying to bump their KDR as high as possible before they get the boltgun treatment

  4. Two things, keeps cats indoors and get rid of xl bully dogs.

  5. Britain steadily becoming a post-apocalyptic RPG, where you can’t find anywhere affordable to live and instead have to spend your time stealthing around, hoping not to aggro giant radioactive killer dogs in your search for food and water.

  6. That actually looks like a pitbull or a big staffie. XL Bullies are much broader.

But it’s hard to be sure, I don’t want to look at the video much.

All of these breeds are bred for this, please research what you’re buying.

At least the guy came and got the dog. But that doesn’t excuse it happening or make it any better.

  7. >”I have seen that dog off the lead every day for a few months. It could have been the dog attacking my three-year-old boy.

Abso-fucking-lutely. It could have killed a small child in a heartbeat. I don’t love dogs being off lead in residential areas at all (I suspect a high proportion of the dog shit lying around in my area is there because the owners didn’t even see the dog was doing it, they let it get that far ahead)… But it seems crazy for large dogs that could kill children or other animals in a flash like this.
