My gf is a pretty serious Catholic and asked me to go to this place together for pilgrimage last summer(I am an atheist so i waited at a nearby cafe with my laptop).
I was just wondering if this pilgrimage is still widely popular or it is just some kinda old culture that’s slowly fading away. Anyone in this sub still attends this pilgrimage stuff like my gf does from time to time?
ps) btw it is cool you guys have culverins on the wall of the monastery.

I mean, thousands of people still walk that pilgrimage every year. They were quite popular among young people when I was in high school.
