Amusing considering it was only 18 months ago they were preaching about how many more people they were taking in compared to the UK. Life comes at you fast
it seems like the breaking points has finally come all over europe. the next year will be interesting. I wonder how europe handles this
there’s currently 800 homes available to rent in ireland : /
From doctors and engineers to paying them not to come.
It’s still an absurd situation waiting to blow up. What we need is to actually enforce borders and pull out of ridiculous refugee conventions. It’s insane that all people from a country, from a potentially unlimited number of countries, can cross half the world and then be entitled to be supported in Europe, possibly all of them in the tiniest European state.
It’s a ridiculous catastrophic law and in stead of bribing unreliable dictators like Erdogan to break it on our behalf, we should pull out of UN conventions and make up our own asylum system.
Ahh yes, paying to keep the lovelable migrants away. How sweet. How about we change the law and start mass deportation ah?

“migrants who are already in other parts of the EU or make a “financial contribution”.
Why is the EU so detached from the will of the people?
He should have done that at the start of the conflict.
It’s ridiculous that countries have to pay for not accepting migrants.
Right thing to do
No problem, they are all in Italy
Our housing market is severely constipated
It might be a lower price to pay in the long run.
Thank God Ireland has so much money from being a corporate tax haven within the EU, so they can pay to keep all the “doctors and engineers” away. What a clown show.
Yep, as is their right in accordance with the New Pact on Migration. You can take migrants or send financial remuneration to the inundated member states.

Huh, let’s see what’s the most populous [minority](https://www.thejournal.ie/polish-language-in-ireland-5725255-Mar2022/#:~:text=Integration%20needs%20for%20'invisible'%20minority,the%20Immigrant%20Council%20of%20Ireland) in Ireland… oh shit, oh fuck.
What migrants are we talking about here?
Eastern European?
Will it work?
The UK pays France but it doesn’t seem to make any difference.
“I’m gonna pay you $100 to fuck off” meme vibes
Ireland second separatist european Politic group?
I feel this will government will do anything to avoid fixing the housing shortage.
House our fucking 12k homeless first. So many of us still stuck with our parents too. We just don’t have the room.
This is insane, we are losing control of our own borders because of problems created by other nations.
