America has gotten weak on Russia, we allowed this and even encouraged it. We presented the world with a false finish line declaring an end to The Cold War. We grew weak and having Russian assets in our government such as Trump proves it. America has no real power, or do we. It looks like we are just letting Russia do whatever they want. I am disgusted with American policy on Putin. Weak weak weak.

Putin appears to love his cherry picking using false information while ignoring established evidence that contradicts his claims.
The U.S at least promotes areas that benefit the international rule of law, and doesn’t engage in undermining the principles of democracy. The U.S also uses diplomatic tools to mitigate threats from authoritarian governments.
Unlike Putin who employs tactics to influence public opinion and policies of democratic institutions through out the world using bot and troll farms, also infiltrating organizations where there is significant influence on government and citizens, hacking government agencies, identifying vulnerable and corruptible individuals and organizations. The war crimes it continues to commit in its illegal invasion of Ukraine.
Abusing its vetoing power in the UN to prevent resolutions that would hold russia accountable for its actions. Putin also supports other authoritarian regimes that engage in human rights violations as russia does itself and also have no respect for international law. All of which russia does pursuing its twisted agenda.
Putins reasoning is purposely biased, he fully understands that he is trying to promote is a deceptive narrative.
Putin could have easily used diplomacy to peacefully resolve and respect the facts by promoting the norms of international law.
Once again, it is totally backwards.
Russia lost touch with reality. The West is pushing back.
