9 years that’s far too long considering rape and also manslaughter rarely gets 5 years nowadays. It does sound quite sad and a mental health break, so don’t know how on earth the judge came to the conclusions that he acted did what he did before becoming psychotic. Also the AI encouraging him is a bit concerning, in that it can both replicate a real life conversation quite well and that there’s nothing that could make the AI aware that it’s going into dangerous territory.
