Hi all,
My dad and I have been long time lurkers on CasualUK. We shared many a laugh at all the posts on here. My dad passed away recently, and of his few positions left, he had a flask.
We had many a tipple from it, and along with a shoehorn and nail brush… it’s one of the few things I have left from him. I am trying to see if it’s possible to identify the maker or where it came from, so I’m turning to all of you!
It’s of Celtic design, wiith a Celtic cross. From what I’ve googled it’s a pretty generic design, but if anyone can help identify it further, it would be much appreciated. The only identifying mark is a stamp on the back that reads “Celtic Pewter”.
Cheers to anyone who can help.

I don’t think it’s exactly what you’re looking for but this is worth a read: https://www.pewtersociety.org/identifying-and-collecting-pewter/pewterers-marks
Sorry to hear about your dad, it sounds like you had a really good relationship.
I believe this is from the company “English Pewter” who are based in Sheffield and have been manufacturing products such as flasks and other things since 1977. I found a link on their website to the same flask. I hope this helps!

It looks quite similar to this one made by The English Pewter Company in Sheffield.

I think they make it in different sizes for different markets as I see smaller ones also by The English Pewter Company on Amazon and John Lewis.

It definitely looks like your father’s flask
