I am so so old that I remember that maybe about thirty years ago you could drive under a couple of the arcs.
I made this out of yarn.
Built of unmortared granite blocks, pretty impressive
Wow. I didn’t know they had cameras back then.
this was rebuilt XVI century.
As a local I recommend:
– “Jose María” is the best restaurant that you can eat Cochinillo, also a good Cochinillo must be crunchy on the outside but on the inside very tasty and so soft that melts on your mouth. If it isn’t, that Cochinillo is reheated from yesterday **a sacrilege to the locals** but it can still taste pretty good.
– There are a lot of pubs and bars that the “Tapas” are free every time you order any kind of drink(except water), they are usually cheaper than the “usual fast food” and you eat spanish food.
– It’s very easy to drink or buy water(half of price of Madrid) because is usually cheap and there are a lot of water sources and benches if you get tired.
– You can visit a lot of things like the Alcazar and Cathedral, but also a lot of museums(Zuloaga, Esteban Vicente, etc..). But if you want also to see something more green you can go to “La Fuencisla”.
– Don’t stop any vehicle to do a photo near the Acueduct, it’s illegal and with a huge pentalty fee and can cause accidents on the roundabout.
– Finally don’t forget to do a lot of photos and enjoy the visit!

Wow,. 100B.C. that is Really something! I wonder if they ever used it as a background for a movie– if they did I’d like to see it!
