Comes with the fritz Box from the isp if your contract goes over DSL
Some buildings have also fibre or a tv cable internet access point
So it doesn’t have to be the only point you could use but that really depends on your contract
Mine plugged through the middle one with cable.
Unrelated but maybe helpful: you can take the face plate off by loosening the screw. It’s easier to paint the wall that way and you don’t have to mask the whole socket.
Btw: you can also do the same with regular electricity sockets. Light switches also come off by prying them off with your finger nails or or a flat plastic tool. Just make sure to turn off the electricity beforehand by flipping the main breaker.

There should be a [cable](https://www.kabelscheune.de/Telefon-VoIP/TAE-RJ45-Kabel-Router-DSL-Anschlusskabel.html)with your Fritzbox, one side TAE-plug, one side DSL-plug (looks like a network CAT5 plug)
Sometiomes the TAE is just an adapter with a slot to plug in the DSL cable.

As you can see the TAE-box is poka yoke, so the plug should only fit one slot (most often center)
TAE-Dose. My fritzbox came with an appropriate cable. Or buy one: https://www.amazon.de/s?k=tae+kabel+fritzbox
