This must be the dumbest decision ever made by FIFA.
I can understand the Portugal/Spain/Morocco common hosting, even if Spain alone could do it but it’s nice to have the world cup in Portugal and Morocco as well and they probably would not be able to host it by themselves.
But WHY having 3 matchs in 3 different South American countries?? There is absolutely not a single rational explanation about it.
Unless this is only to give the next one to Saudi Arabia as South America, Europe and Africa couldn’t host it according to the FIFA rules. If South America can’t candidate for the 2034 world cup, why did they accept this shitty proposal from FIFA?
What’s the reason for Mexico getting it 3 times? Seems odd that Mexico of all places has gotten it so many times
Qatar is the biggest shame of all time, corruption for hosting right, treatment of migrant workers, climate impact, and so on..
Already looking forward for 2034 with 12 countries hosting the tournament.
