Does anyone know what this knob is for? It has RTL written on it with the numbers 1-5. Every time I bring it back to 1 there’s a locking spring sound behind the wall.
There’s a heater, perhaps inside the wall. The yellow color of the plastic indicates it’s a few years old. Leave it at three at all times and you’ll have comfortable 21 degrees in the room, if it’s properly set up that is
My guess is a radiator knob for underfloor heating. The settings 1-5 are the levels of heat. RTL is return temperature limiter valve.
This is something for the combined heating / floor heating in the bathroom.
Toilet TV Control for Channels 1-5. My dude got RTL bookmarked for Dschungelcamp.
Its a thermostat just like what is used for radiators here. Most likely for floor heating. RTL means it has a Rücklauftemperaturbegrenzer. I guess you have a radiator and under floor heating in the same room.
It says “RTL” on it so it’s most likely to switch to that TV channel. Not sure tho…🤷1-5 is maybe for the volume.
“Rücklauftemperaturbegrenzer, kurz auch RTL Ventil genannt, wird häufig bei Fußbodenheizungen genutzt.”

Your bathroom has floor heating.
That controls the neighbor’s flow of water.
