  1. Hope so. The unelectable cunt would tank them so hard that we’d never hear from them ever again.

  2. This is really showing how despirate the tories are if they are looking to farage

  3. Honestly should just do it. The conservative party has turned into a far right party built on stoking fears about immigration, with no other arguments to make besides jingoism, lies and conspiracy theories. Let the party die with elderly generations left supporting it.

  4. Maybe if he was in charge the Tories might actually do something to actually curb migration and not just talk about doing it to win votes. If he becomes the Tory leader and manages to convince enough voters he actually means business on migration then the Tories actually may have a chance next election. The other positive would be it would force Labour to get serious on migration too. All I know is that it’s a damn shame that one of the British voters biggest issues is simply being talked about and not acted on.

  5. That isn’t the craziest thing I’ve heard even this week, which is a sad indictment of how far politics has fallen. Farcical.

  6. That’s a very selective edit of the article.

    > “If Nigel Farage was given membership of the Conservative party … then you have opened the door to Farage-ism inside the Tory party, not led by his proxies but by Farage himself,” said Mr Osborne.
    >
    > The former chancellor added: “It’s not inconceivable that if the Conservative party lost the general election, and if Nigel Farage had rejoined as a Tory party member … then he could be a potential future leader of the Conservative party.”
    >
    > The Tory grandee said he would be “appalled” by a Farage takeover – predicting that he would mean “condemning the Tory party to many years in the political wilderness if that happens”.

  7. Heil Farage, all he needs now is the moustache

Get him to fuck, if he ever got close some cunt would assassinate him, racist nazi cunt

  8. I doubt the 1922 Committee would support a Farage leadership. But then again they initially opposed a Johnson leadership and we know how that turned out.

  9. I honestly think the Tories are heading for the wilderness years, but beware of Reich wing popularism amoungst the great unwashed and thick as mince.

  10. God fucking shit I want off this god-forsaken shit pile of an island.

  11. How about some fresh fucking blood for all parties rather than the same old cunts hanging around like ghosts at a cemetery.

  12. He absolutely could be. Conservatives picked up hell of a lot of new members when UKIP tanked.

But Farage will never put himself in a position where he has to take responsibility or face scrutiny.

  13. When did we slip into this fuck awful timeline. Tory thundercunt and murder of the poor supports failed loser that couldn’t even lead a leave Europe after we left.

If you can’t laugh you would cry.

  14. Misleading headline. He basically says he hopes it doesn’t happen, but there’d be a chance if the Tories lost the general election

  15. And I thought they bottomed out with Johnson and Truss.

  16. Don’t underestimate the man. Overconfident lefties will laugh, but so they did at Boris and Trump too. Centrists are a little more in touch with the mood of the country

  17. The only wy he could get elected is by being parachuted into the safest of safe tory seats

  18. Not after he declared on a live television interview that King Charles should shut up if he knows what’s good for him & the Royal family. This was in regards to Charles concerns of immigration & Brexit etc.

  19. George is trolling the current leadership for their conference nonsense.

  20. he has to get elected first…. and id see many of the longer term hard right party members tearing him apart before he got that chance to build momentum and become a serious electoral force.

the tory party is ruthless and i could see farage ending up with egg on his face if he tried to do that tbf

  21. Gideon knows how far the party has lurched to the far right if Herr Führage is being touted as leader of the Tory scum

  22. Holy shit, I was hoping we were maybe getting away from jingoistic, xenophobic politics .

  23. Can you imagine the meltdown reddit would have if he became prime minister?

  24. One of the worst British people in living memory to head one of the worst British political parties in living memory.

    How fitting.

  25. Just thinking back to when he survived that plane crash.

  26. He is the most successful British politician in the last 20 years.

  27. Farage would need to be MP first to become party leader, and that means finding a *very* safe tory seat for him to contend first. We’re talking deepest darkest Suffolk in the 1970s here (next door to Truss basically)

  28. He’s been helping those cunts for years might as well make it official

  29. I’m just gonna say that man is going to be prime minister one day.

  30. The man who is morally responsible for the murder of Jo Cox?

  31. Stood for election 7 times.

Failed to be elected 7 times.

    /Shrugs

  32. Yes please, bring it on.

Let the tory chump find out what its like being in perpetual opposition….

  33. If that actually happens I expect a new party will be created by more moderate conservatives.

  34. He’s a miserable c*nt, and those who agree with him, or vote for him, are pretty low down the intelligence spectrum. If he rejoins the Tory Party he will just be given a bigger megaphone to shout shit through. Most people now realise that he lied through his teeth about Brexit, and most now think the Tories are useless. Also, a lot of the nasty old sods who support him will be long gone by the time he gets the chance to stand as leader.

  35. Do you mean the guy who lost to a person dressed as a dolphin.. that guy? The Tories just love electing a loser to run things, don’t they?

  36. Complex thing.

Farage would be PM in an instant if he got near the top of the Tory party.

The Tories know this, they equally know IF they could take him in without him becoming too powerful like that he would be electoral gold.

I’m not sure anybody in the Conservative party really cares enough about the Party over being leader themselves enough to risk it.

They’d rather rule a dead party than be number 2/3/4 to Nigel Farage as PM.

Rees-Mogg probably the only high profile Tory who would do best by party and support farage as leader.

  37. BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA…

    <clutches chest, draws breath>

Phew, wow, haven’t laughed that much in approximately 13 years.

    Wait. This is serious?

    BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA
