1) If you have the money and someone you’re willing to converse with for four hours, dinner at Under Grain is amazing.
2) I wish I knew about the Hypogeum in time to make reservations, because it seems like it is worth seeing. I’ll have to come back.
3) The Valletta Cultural Authority puts on good, free, non-touristy events. Like, at the food festival, they were handing out recipes written in Maltese. Check it out if you’re planning a trip: https://www.vca.gov.mt/mt/
4) The bus and ferry work well. Shout-out to the bus driver who wanted us to pay him 5 euros for two bus tickets and his willingness to make change, even though we had 4 euros in coins. I’ll bet he makes decent money on that scam.
5) Cusk 0.0 is quite good. And so cheap!
