  1. The two-tiered justice system has been fully exposed at this point. Even if he were to be put in prison right fucking now, it wouldn’t make up for the fact that he’s been free for years despite his crimes being out in the open.

  3. It would be shocking and a huge let down if our Intelligence community does not consider the entire amount of information that Trump and his ilk had as already compromised. If they do not, they are failing heavily at their jobs.

  5. I just assume any state secrets he saw as POTUS he immediately blabbed to people. I don’t think his ego would allow him to keep it private. I just hope this is an area where his constant lying works in our favor and he also told so many lies it’s difficult/impossible for our enemies to determine what is true or not.

  6. I work with people that regularly go into SCIFs, and they could get fired if they forget their Bluetooth headphones are on them. The documents case is probably one of the more harmful national security breaches in history. This stuff is really bad too, and it’s telling how loose he was with our nation’s most closely guarded secrets.

    I would bet money that security officials consider him a massive threat.

  9. I’m struggling to confirm this, but last night Lawrence O’Donnell said Trump SOLD the secrets to this guy. “Blabbing” or “sharing” is bad enough, but if he made a profit off of it I think that makes the situation exponentially worse.

  10. Been saying it since the classified documents story broke, they all have to be viewed as compromised. They’re not secrets anymore.

  11. Been waiting for reports of this. He definitely has no concept of discretion, and his ego doesn’t permit him to follow rules or advise.

  15. Are we really concerned about this? That would mean trusting his ability to both understand the classified information to begin with and then ALSO disclosing/discussing it to somebody else in any kind of meaningful way.

    I imagine this being like some sort of Tim the Toolman scenario where he attempts to explain Wilson’s wisdom to somebody else. And gets it completely wrong leaving the other person wondering wtf he’s talking about.

  20. Maybe I’m just a pessimist, but I think you rarely ever catch somebody the only time they did something. Whether it’s a shoplifter, your kids sneaking out of the house, your boss not correctly paying your overtime, etc., it’s almost never the first time when you catch them.

  24. Duh! We knew this, we just didn’t have the evidence yet. US lost more Intelligent Assets (spies and informants) from 2017-2021 than anytime in history… by far and it isn’t even close.
