Moldova is filled with Russian stooges. One of Russia’s aims in Ukraine was to annex all coastal regions up to Odessa to get a border with Moldova so they could eventually bring Moldova forcefully under Russian control. Thankfully this plan failed as the Russian army was stopped at Kherson.
Such attempts, including successful, will continue until the West stops procrastinating and starts responding.
Not in Moldova only. At least 1 time in Montenegro. Prigozhin and Russian Intelligence Agency (GRU) was strongly tied. “Wagner” is now under their direct control.
I have no problem believing that.
I remember that there were people in Moldova on “anti-war” demonstrations, that did not speak romanian (formerly called moldovan) language. Obviously hired.
