I hand-drew this map with an old dip pen and ink in the style of Tolkien’s Middle Earth maps for a local friend of mine, I thought you’d like to see! Let me know if I’ve missed out any important landmarks!

Yea, you missed out my house.
Bicester Outlet car park.
This is really beautiful!
Maybe too much hassle to consider, but (based on a relative who still hasn’t got over it), you might want to consider using the pre-1974 boundary between Berkshire and Oxfordshire, which gave Berkshire much more of an “old mother’s boot” shape. (quite Tolkein-esque in fact). Basically the Thames was the boundary between the two counties right up to near Oxford, so the Vale of White Horse was in Berkshire https://berksfhs.org/info/research-guides/about-historic-berkshire/
As someone who grew up in Oxfordshire, and hasn’t been back since… absolutely lovely! Reminding me I really do need to check back in on it one of these days.
This is fantastic.
Do you take commissions? I’d be very interested in one of these for my County.
You’ve missed Silverstone. Where else are the hobbits going to go racing?
This is really lovely. I love looking at maps.
Also how sick of drawing trees were you and have you got rid of the RSI yet?
