Germany certainly should! The west needs to get serious about supporting Ukraine militarily. Russia is moving to a permanent war footing, actually starting new production of T-80 tanks (not just refurbishing old hulks) and mass-producing drones. Mobilzation continues.
It’s easy to laugh at Russian ineptitude and corruption, but there are millions of them, and they won’t stop. Gerasimov already talked about the war continuing into 2025. I wish we would stop underestimating our enemies. Putin’s playing the long game, and we’ve been trickle-feeding equipment to Ukraine in frankly insufficient quantities so far.
Every western nation, even those who’ve given more than most, needs to dig deeper. Ukrainians are fighting and dying on behalf of the rest of Europe and the whole western world. We cannot let them down. Support must never waver, and new production of tanks and artillery needs to commence ASAP to equip the UAF. Jets need to be supplied immediately. If every NATO country donated 10% of its defense budget to the Ukrainian cause they’d have retaken every inch of land by Christmas, and broken the back of the Russian army. Enough talking about it! How about some action?

Why this eternal discussion about **TAURUS for Ukraine y/n?**
It sounds a bit **absurd** to explain this **world-politically s**o relevant question (Taurus: y/n?) on the basis of a **provincial** circumstance, but it is (unfortunately!) so: The party of the German chancellor Scholz, the **SPD**, has a strong “**regional association**” in the federal state of **North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW)**. And in this regional association there are some (eternally loyal to Russia) “comrades” who do not want that. This is also quite well known within Germany. The best known representative of this “wing” is the chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the Bundestag, **Rolf Muetzenich**. And this Mr. Muetzenich would rather yesterday than today resume “nice normal” relations with the war criminal Putler. And this Mr. Muetzenich was -next to the ex-Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder- one of the biggest supporters of NORDSTREAM 2, the meanwhile blown up gas pipeline. And unfortunately “my” fearful chancellor Scholz does nothing, what is not released by the RuZZia-friend Muetzenich. Scholz is – unfortunately – a very **weak chancellor** and can be steered by him. My forecast: There will be **NO Taurus** cruise missiles, **because a SPD state association in Germany is against it**….sad but true. And SORRY for the long version here of my text 🙁
