  1. In my experience with genetic testing sites the Ashkenazi Jews are most present in historical records on these kind of sites and overall a high representation of using genetic profiling services? (So if it seems that stealing 23andme data is targeted towards jews, it might just be that the jews are using that service the most)

  2. *Silently thanks five-years-ago self for having my data deleted*

  3. Yep, definitely the work of the Russian variety of Nazi

  4. So happy I didn’t do that stuff. I don’t need a company with my dna to tell me I’m a Jew lol

  5. They’re just preparing their lists for when they implement Plan 2025. If you’re not familiar with Plan 2025 you should go study up. The plan is pretty terrifying. It absolutely consolidates power under the executive branch.

They are already trying to end LGBTQ marriages as well as interracial marriages. I’m sure they are making lists of non Christians, too. First they’ll be on a list which will be used to purge them from any government posts. That’s how it starts.

  6. Ashkenazi and Chinese? Must have been someone from the upper west side.

  7. How can DNA tell what religion a person identifies with?

  8. Well, all these poor quality commercial ancestry DNA tests always were nothing but a cool looking way to collect genetic data of people. Whoever thinks that giving such data to a private company with the sole purpose of making money off of it should think twice. Selling the data is the name of the game—not protecting the data.
It’s a brilliant business model in the US because of the quite unique obsession with race and ancestry percentages. It comes with a price. Once for the test, and once for handing over your very personal data to a private company, And a third time when this data unsurprisingly gets leaked.

I hope the affected Jewish people will be safe.

Folks, don’t give away your most valuable personal data to some greedy and poorly regulated company just to be able to brag and delude yourself about some 1.2% Irish and 0.75% Cherokee “heritage”. Percentages that come with low statistical confidence anyway.
