Good. Fuck the Wisconsin republican party for constantly trying to cheat and subvert democracy. This judge was elected by the people, and she has every right to judge important cases.
I can’t wait for the gerrymandered shitshow to end and Wisconsin to get some fair districts. Hopefully, Wisconsin republicans will never gain power again
At no point in the article did it explain if there is some reason for her to consider recusal. Was she ever previously involved with districting or cases related to it?
When a majority of the state votes democrat yet somehow republicans controls a supermajority, you know there is complete rat fucking going on with the maps. She stated the obvious during her campaign, but never worked on this case. Considering every judge in the state receives political donations, that is a ludicrous argument to recuse.
