[Work Visa For Qualified Professionals](https://www.make-it-in-germany.com/en/visa-residence/types/work-qualified-professionals)

i have an admit for a MSc in Autonomous Degree program from a public university in Germany, and is offered by the Department of Computer Science. i was having a final look at the program before applying for a visa and a question popped up in my head about eligibility for staying back long term in DE. according to the Make It In Germany Link and the linked article 18b inside, they say that to be eligible for a Work Visa For Qualified Professionals:

>it is important to ensure that your recognised qualifications enable you to perform the job for which you are being hired

i would very much want to work within robotics or ai (which presumably should be entailed by MSc in Autonomous Systems) but i know they are much more limited and harder to land. would this degree, as a fallback, allow me to take up regular software engineering jobs as well (backend/frontend) after graduation? if not, does having a bachelors in computer engineering help me towards that? or do i risk having to leave the country if i am not able to work on robots?

further, is time spent working on the 18 month graduate visa (iirc i am allowed to work anything on it) counted towards being eligible for permanent residence, or does only the time on blue card/work visa count?
