  1. I left Ovo because they refused to return the £1000 I was in credit because I had an open complaint with them as my smart meter stopped working and they were billing me based on estimates far above my usage.

    They forced me onto a higher DD (almost £400 per month) and my manual readings were resulting in me over-paying by £200 per month.

    I found the cheat code in the end. I switched to Octopus so they had to return the extra.

  2. well, I’m sure that the £8.1bn will find it’s way back into infrastructure repairs and upgrades, efficiency innovations, and other development or maintenance that benefits the consumers and the country as a whole, rather than into the off-shore accounts of a handful of psychotic money-hoarders that pull all the strings.
