In every school I know there’s a core of around 20-30 pupils who just refuse to go to lessons, they turn up every day and then play hide and seek for the entire day. The amount of hours it takes from students who actually want and need help is incredible.
School are totally powerless to deal with it though, as soon as they do punish the naughty kids the parents are straight down the school abusing the staff! All at the detriment of the kids who do behaviour and are there to learn
The irony being that for all the misery, disruption and stress caused by some badly behaved feral children, it’s absolutely nothing compared to that caused by Ofsted.
