Grüß Gott! I’m applying to German Universities, and I have read the Anabin database carefully. However, I still have a question. I’m applying with a US High School Diploma, but I only stayed in American-system high school from 11th and 12th grade. Before that, I was in another non-American-system school.

After reading the detailed explanation on Anabin database as the picture shows below, does it mean I do not have to complete all the requirements for American-system school? And they will also evaluate my previous high school education background from another country in 9th and 10 th grade. In my case, will they cut half of the requirements for American-system school?
(i.e. 2 units of foreign language for all US students—–>1 unit of foreign language for me)

Am I interpreting this information correctly?
