These attacks are not surprising given Israeli policy and actions but they can’t be condoned. All the pro-Palestinian support groups in Ireland need to utterly and unequivocally condemn attacks on innocent civilians and the desecration of the corpses of dead Israeli soldiers and call for the safe treatment and release of hostages.
I hope Israel is smart enough to show restraint and not destroy civilian infrastructure or attack the civilian population in retaliation as they go after Hamas.
However I fear with Netanyahu that the response will be overwhelming with scant regard for civilians and will set Gaza back another 20 years

Firstly if you treat people like animals they become animals. This is caused by the policies of Israel and the atrocities they commit on a daily basis like have you all forgotten then time they killed a bunch of kids playing football with a warship? Also everyone in Israel serves in the military so there is no innocent civilians they are a religious military dictatorship. While this action will help no one and hamas certainly doesn’t have the support of a lot of those in Palestine watching videos of Israelis having watch parties shouting death to Palestine while modern tanks shell the worlds largest prison seems to be quickly forgot by many in this group.
