That statement is more telling than most are ready to let on.
Fascism has been said to be a political philosophy that is followed to obtain power and not necessarily a blue print for governing. It is achieved by predominantly playing to the uneducated and shallow thinking masses, and keeping them from being educated in critical thinking. Whether or not you would characterize the GOP as a fascist, they do seem to be only interested in gaining and retaining power by , in the words of H.L. Mencken(US reporter, literary critic, editor, author of the early 20th century), ” … keeping the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.”
I’m not saying that the people in the Senate are old, but the Senate cafeteria does have a vat and a hose so that members can top off their embalming fluid.
If that were true MTG would be on a registry list for showing naked men to classmates.
As a result of Republicans choosing not to functionally govern, as a form of delegitimizing government itself – which bolsters the arisrocracy’s dominant position in society.
Hence, our aristocrats aid and abet this dysfunction through GOP puppets sitting in Congress.
That is an incredible headline. So on point its sad.
Republican legislators insist on work requirements for government aid while failing to see the irony as they cash their fat government checks.
I’m an 8th grade social studies teacher. In my state, they do us history that year.
